Biking in Maine

Road Biking in Maine

Maine has a great track record in supporting cycling events, such as the trek across Maine, and now, the Dempsey Challenge, an annual fundraiser for the Dempsey Center for Hope & Healing at CMMC. This wonderful cancer support center was started by Maine-born actor Patrick Dempsey and is run by his sister Mary. Now, Patrick combines his love of biking and Maine for a good cause.

Maine’s winding country roads and scenic byways through the rolling western foothills, make for a great day of road biking. The Maine coastline and Acadia National Park in particular offer abundant opportunities for bike tours.
